Today he got inspired by a great article on the medicinal chemistry of isocyanides and prepared a compound set for you. It contains more than a thousand compounds containing this moiety.

Isocyanides are not considered typical warheads for medicinal chemistry projects, but today’s review has some arguments to argue with that!  
The aim of the article is therefore to show the richness in the biological activity of the isocyanide-containing molecules, and to support the idea of using the isocyanide functional group as an unconventional pharmacophore especially useful as a metal coordinating warhead.
