In 2020, a group of scientists published an article called ‘Application of sulfoximines in medicinal chemistry from 2013 to 2020’.
In recent years, interest in sulfoximine chemistry has been greatly increased, but the routine application of this functional group is still limited by the lack of physicochemical and in vivo parameters.
Three drugs containing this group are now in clinical trials: BAY 1143572, BAY 1251152, and AZD6738.
