Here are two molecules that were recently highlighted by Drug Hunter!

1. LY3154885 is an oral positive allosteric modulator (PAM) of the dopamine D1 receptor. Some neurological disorders, e.g., Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s diseases, schizophrenia, etc., could be treated by activating the D1 receptor. LY3154885 was identified as a new drug candidate with improved drug−drug interactions (DDI), potentially possessing lower victim DDI risk.

2. AZD7648 is a potent and selective DNA-dependent protein kinase (DNA-PK) inhibitor. It shows the efficacy in a delay of ovarian cancer progression in combination with two of the therapeutic options for patient management – PLD or olaparib. AZD7648 demonstrated promising results in the patient-derived ovarian cancer xenografts (OC-PDX) and now is in Phase1/Phase2 clinical trials for advanced malignancies.
