  • Bioisosteric replacement of some common fragments

    This April, a group of researchers posted an article called 'The powerful symbiosis between synthetic and medicinal chemistry'.
    It combines synthetic chemistry and medicinal chemistry approaches - shows some novel synthetic bioisostere replacements for a number of functional groups.

  • Building Blocks for Analogs of Infigratinib

    This May, Infigratinib (TRUSELTIQ) received approval by the FDA for adults treatment of cholangiocarcinoma.

    It is an ATP-competitive, FGFR1-3 tyrosine kinase inhibitor implicated in origin of FGFR-driven diseases.

    Infigratinib contains dihalogen dimethoxy aniline moiety in its backbone.
